屋久島高校の生徒たちが

授業の一環でお店を訪れてくれました。

・

2022年から高校のカリキュラムで始まっている

「総合的な探究の時間」。

生徒自らが問いを立て、調査・分析・表現を通じて

課題解決に挑む授業。

・

SDGsをテーマとしたストーンサウナ用フレグランス開発に

チャレンジしている生徒たちの想いや意見を聞き、

弊社では彼女たちの取り組みを表現する立場で

香りを調合しています。

・

香りはおよそ決まり、

10代の感性が生きたネーミングも定まりました。

・

来週、プレゼンがあるとのことで

直接聞きに行けるのが楽しみです( ◠‿◠ )

［A Time for Inquiry]

Students from Yakushima High School visited our shop

as part of their class project.

•

Since 2022, their curriculum has included a program called

“A Time for Inquiry,”

where students begin with their own questions

and explore them through research, reflection, and expression.

•

This group of students is working on the development

of a fragrance for a stone sauna, inspired by the spirit of SDGs.

After listening to their thoughts and ideas,

our role has been to give form to their vision

through scent.

•

The fragrance is almost complete now.

And a name—

one that carries the fresh sensibility of their teenage years—

has also been chosen.

•

Their presentation will take place next week.

I’m looking forward to being there

and listening to their voices in person.
